About

This website is about Jefferson Davis and the intersection between a fervent love of photography and the struggle of going blind. I have been blind in one eye for all of my life, but I am now going blind in the other eye.

As long as I can remember, I’ve had a love for photography and cameras. When I was a young lad, they told my parents that I’d go blind in the other eye but I never did…until now, decades later. I can still see but my vision is narrowing daily. I built this website to tell my story as I transition to blindness over the next year or so.
